5. 2,700+ Handmade Dolls — Bengaluru, September 2026

A September 2026 initiative in Bengaluru brought together 56 artisans who displayed more than 2,700 handmade dolls depicting the Mahabharata, Krishna Leela and other aspects of Indian heritage.

This is an especially useful current model for a cultural record concept because it brings together multiple artisans and traditional storytelling.
